QUALIFI Level 3 Assessing
The QUALIFI Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is a substantial vocational qualification, that will prepare you for a career as a vocational assessor. The qualification is designed for learners aged 19 years or older and will support you to gain employment as a vocational assessor, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.
This qualification and role are required if you wish to assess any awarding organisation qualifications or wish to become an Awarding Organisation accredited center.
This is a practical-based qualification intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment, and vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in environments other than the workplace (i.e. workshop, classroom, or other training environments). Entry to this qualification will require you to have full competence in the vocational subject area that you will be assessing and you will need access to a cohort of learners so that you can gather evidence of real assessments.
This qualification includes units covering the principles and practices of assessment, assessing learner's occupational competence in the workplace and assessing vocational skills, and knowledge and understanding of education and training.
This qualification is supported by employers of vocational assessors who have confirmed that this qualification will enable you to gain the knowledge and skills required for the specific job role of the vocational assessor in the education and training sector.
There is a detailed manual that sits alongside this course along with a PowerPoint presentation to prepare you for the assignment you will need to complete as well as the assessment of two learners through a range of assessment methods that you will plan and complete.
