VTCT(ITEC) Level 4 Dermaplaning Training in Essex
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Dermaplaning is a beauty aesthetic qualification aimed at Level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add dermaplaning to their repertoire of treatment offerings.

Learners are required to hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent qualification including VTCT Level 3 anatomy and physiology.

This qualification is informed by employers and national occupational standards for aesthetic beauty and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully commercial dermaplaning practitioner.

Each course will be a maximum group of 6 trainees, to ensure you get full support throughout your training and you will work on each other. We provide thorough training manuals, and fully accredited and insurance-approved certificates, there are no hidden costs with our training courses. 
Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include:

  • Enhance Appearance using Dermaplaning Techniques

This qualification is one of a new suite of Level 4 beauty aesthetic therapies developed as a progression route for Level 3 practitioners wishing to add to their repertoire in specific treatment modalities.
​
Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant requirements, regulations and safe practice treatment protocols for dermaplaning. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.
​
The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment or self-employment in the beauty aesthetic industry providing dermaplaning techniques. Additionally, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing additional specialist qualifications at Level 4, including:
 
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling 
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Radio frequency 
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Ultrasound
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Award in Scalp Micropigmentation Treatments
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Award in Micropigmentation for Camouflage and Restoration
  • VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal ​
All of the theoretical sides of this training course will be undertaken via our online training portal. Once you book your course and payment has been received, you will be sent your login details, to sign in and complete your theory home study modules.

There are 35 modules to this course, you must complete all modules 3 working days before your course, we recommend that you complete these modules 1 month prior to training.

You will be required to work on each other, if you cannot have the treatment, please let us know as soon as you book.

10 x Blades, 1 Steel Blade Handle, 1 x Plastic Scalpel, 1 x Blade Remover Box (Holds 100 used Blades) and 2 x Facial Sponges.

​With your 10 blades and 1 x plastic scalpel, it gives you the potential to earn a minimum of £500
You do have the option of buying the recommended skincare kit, which is £210 and will last for approximately 200 clients, which is very good value for money and can be used on the most sensitive skin. You can find this kit in our online shop under student kits or click on the picture below.​
