VTCT (ITEC) LEVEL 4 AWARD IN SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION TREATMENTS

This course will develop your knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using scalp micropigmentation techniques, a form of cosmetic tattooing implemented to replicate the appearance of natural hair follicles and shaven hair or applied to camouflage scars on the scalp of areas of thinning or hair loss. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation, and knowledge of pre and post-treatment advice, including maintenance treatments. 
VTCT is one of the leading examination boards in the Beauty Industry.
It is very important to make sure you have the right qualifications, the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Scalp Micropigmentation, is a recognised qualification, both in the UK and worldwide, is seen as the highest standard you can reach with certification, is recognised by all major insurance companies, council regulatory bodies and is Ofqual government approved.
More and more councils and local authorities are tightening up the requirements for their registration, so it is a good time to start thinking about Level 4 - even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage.
Entry onto this qualification requires a VTCT Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology qualification or equivalent.
This is the first scalp training that you can get insured straight away, most CPD scalp micropigmentation courses, you need a VTCT Level 4 Micropigmentation qualification, in order to get insured and licenced, if you do not have this, you have to wait 12 months to gain your insurance and licence, as your council will ask to see this for your skin piercing licence.

As this is an Ofqual-regulated course, you will be able to gain insurance straight after completion.
All of the theoretical sides of this training course will be undertaken via our online training portal. Once you book your course and payment has been received, you will be sent your login details, to sign in and complete your theory home study modules.

There are 33 modules to this course, you must complete all modules before your course at least 3 working days before your course starts (we recommend that you complete these modules 1 month prior to training)
