The ProQual Level 4 Award in Core of Knowledge Laser Safety provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working or wanting to work in the aesthetics industry, who wish to develop and demonstrate their competence at safely using lasers and other high-energy light devices.
Ofqual Regulated Laser Safety Training - MHRA Aligned
This qualification has been designed with reference to the MHRA guidance on Lasers, intense light source systems and LEDs in medical, surgical, dental and aesthetic practices. Students who complete this qualification will have covered the "core of knowledge" of this guidance.
This qualification is also suitable for students who have completed a CPD or accredited pathway and are looking to upgrade to a regulated pathway for accessing laser qualifications.
This qualification is an essential prerequisite for students undertaking the ProQual Level 4 Skin Treatments using Laser, IPL and High Energy LED Devices and the ProQual Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal qualifications.

If you do not already have this qualification, we teach it you can click HERE.
All learners must prove they hold a relevant English Language qualification, if English is not their first language.
The Aims of this Level 4 Core of Knowledge Qualification

Course Requirements
This is a ONLINE Training Course, you can start this course straight away.
Your 1st assignment, can be downloaded at the end of your online training modules, you have a 8 week deadline to complete the 1st assignment and submit it to us. This is to keep you on track with any amendments that need to be made. We do expect your 1st assignment to be completed within at least the first 5 months of the course.
There are 2 assignments to complete in total.
You have 1 year to complete the course.
