PROQUAL LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN LASER AND INTENSE PULSED LIGHT (IPL) TREATMENTS

COURSE DATES:
You can start this course straight away, 3 assignments will need to be completed, before you are given your practical training date.

The ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the beauty industry, who wish to develop and demonstrate their competence in providing a range of hair reduction and skin rejuvenation treatments that use high energy devices, such as lasers and IPL systems.
This qualification is an essential pre-requisite for students undertaking the ProQual Level 5, 6 & 7 Aesthetic Practice-related qualifications.​​
Learners are required to hold the following qualifications:

A Minimum of a ProQual Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology qualification or a Level 3 qualification in a relevant sector.

A ProQual Level 4 Award in Core of Knowledge Laser Safety.​​​

​If you do not already have these qualifications, we teach them.
​​​
All learners must prove they hold a relevant English language qualification if English is not their first language.​​​​​
​The aims of this qualification are:

To develop an understanding of the range of skin and hair reduction treatments using high-energy devices.​

To demonstrate competence at carrying out a range of skin and hair reduction treatments, in accordance with health and safety requirements.

To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested in advanced skin and hair reduction treatments.​
More and more councils and local authorities are tightening up the requirements for their registration, so it is a good time to start thinking about Level 4 - even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage.
Most councils in the borough of London will require you to have a Level 4 qualification and the new legislation is looking to be the same.
All of the theoretical sides of this training course will be undertaken via our online training portal. Once you book your course and payment has been received, you will be sent your login details, to sign in and complete your theory home study modules.
There are 6 modules to this course, you must complete the modules throughout the course.
